Wanted:  Those Who Have A Vision For A

“Move of God For Winning Souls!”

A VISION from GOD, for a “GROUP.”

My husband has asked me to add my thoughts to our statement below (Selma).

My Holy Spirit Born Again Christian experience has spanned almost forty years, Selma my wife, for twenty.

After becoming a spiritually born again Christian I as well as Selma, in prayer, asked God the Father for the baptism of the Holy Spirit;  this was after we were practicing Christians.

Selma and I have the evidence of speaking in tongues which is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

This is Selma. I would like to add my thought on the above, of what my husband has stated. I’ve heard many people say that speaking in tongues is not for today. That is just an excuse , for they actually are not believing the Bible. Speaking in tongues is a very great gift from God, for it is a prayer language to communicate with Him in a special way .

We felt led to share this Vision, for formation of a particular  “GROUP” for the meeting of other like-minded spirit filled believers.

My spiritual experiences span into Southeast Asia as well as all over the US.  Selma’s has been intense to the Missouri state and local areas.

We have observed and experienced a  great lack of spirituality  and reverence for the Lord from those professed Christians.

This is Selma again, commenting on the previous sentence. As Norman stated, he has seen this lack  of spirituality in many places. I have only been in churches in St.Charles and St. Louis areas, and it is appalling what we have witnessed.

The Vision the Lord has given is for formation of a “Group.” The scriptural foundation is below with the key verse being 6:4.

Acts 6:2 KJV – Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples [unto them], and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Acts 6:3 KJV – Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

Acts 6:4 KJV – But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

Acts 6:5 KJV – And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

Acts 6:6 KJV – Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid [their] hands on them.

Acts 6:7 KJV – And the word of God increased; and the number of the  disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

The Vision’s formation of a “Group” is NOT  of ideas of returning to something, or to go back to a way things were in a church or of some other such traditional thoughts.

Rather, the members of this “Group” have an acute awareness of a very public lack of spirituality, the missing reverence within the people who are professed followers of Christ.

A Christian is one who professes to believe only the spoken commands of Jesus, the Apostles, and Evangelists within the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament only.

This spiritual lack  results in no winning of souls to Christ.

The reverence for spirituality is easily distinguished.

Obedience to the words spoken by Jesus, the Apostles, and Evangelists within the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament leads the lost to Christ.

That is the purpose of the Christians, the followers of Christ.

“Leading the Lost to Christ, a Soul Winning Church.”

Peter stated above of giving himself to prayer, and the ministry of the Word. Today, we meditate and study  the Protestant Christian Bible Old and New Testaments.

These thoughtful actions begin a truth and reverence for the spirituality of God’s Holy Word and Jesus’ Purposes.

Peter searched, as well as others, and meditated on those truths spoken by the Prophets of old.  In part, as an example for us to likewise look into God’s Word. Which is only revealed to us within the Protestant Christian Bible Old and New Testaments.

Peter’s burden to understand what was going on spiritually, for such wondrous miracles were happening and peoples lives changed, by the Messiah Jesus who was in their presence.

This New Covenant, that Jesus spoke of at the last supper with His Apostles was Jesus’s Salvation Message to “ALL THE PEOPLE of the World.”

Peter as well as others joined together through prayer.

Praying is believing, extolling the greatness of God.

These joined together in believing with their understanding of Old Testament Prophecies about the Messiah, who was Jesus.

The Apostles, these men, who became the servants to all people, as exampled by Jesus through the washing of one another’ feet,

Gives the humbleness necessary for effective ministering prayer.

And the belief and faith necessary to God the Father our heavenly Creator.

Prayer is BELIEVING!

Peter believed the Holy Spirit was coming as it did in the upper room where they waited in prayer before God for it.

Receiving, after they confessed Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior. Believing what Jesus had said was coming for those that believed. The followers and believers in Jesus would indeed receive this additional blessing and faith-power from God the Father. These first Christian converts waited upon that which was yet to come into their lives, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

“The Power from on High,” that Jesus promised to them and the world,  especially to those of the following generations.  Those future generations would be blessed with, enabled with, this same power as the early believers.

As the Early Believers believed, and prayerfully waited, to receive from the Holy Spirit of whom had come into their lives at their conversion experience. Now they believed, and waited, for the Baptism that Jesus said would come to those who would ask and believe the Father for it.

Likewise today, the very same Holy Spirit can come to the Christian after their personal born again salvation experience.

(Selma speaking. It is so important to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, for He is our Teacher, giving spiritual understanding  of the Bible.)

The Group Spiritual Vision—- we can begin by saying we do not promote any Protestant Denomination.

We are not seeking leadership or to open a church.

Our wish is to reach out to other spirit-filled full gospel believers  who have a similar longing to reach the spiritually lost within our communities, state, country, and world.

It is important to note the real purposes of how we interpret this vision, and I have to stress again that it’s not about starting a church, home meetings, cell groups etc.

The Visions’ Purpose to us is to stir up our faith and belief in God and His Savior Jesus collectively within this GROUP.

FOR ONLY ONE PURPOSE:

FOR GOD TO RAISE UP ANOTHER IN THE LEADING OF THE LOST TO JESUS’ SALVATION.

To stay in the background would be the point of all within this GROUP.

Interceding to God by faith believing.

Believing that God, indeed is sending, and does have those who have only one want and that is to lead the Lost to Christ!  .

Selma’s comment (Our hearts are heavy for those  who are lost all around us, neighbors, family, strangers, and all those who are filling the churches, but are not spiritually born-again. The Bible says that God does not want ANYONE to perish.)

I believe that Apostles Peter, along with the other early Believers gave themselves over to prayer, and prayer was believing what they were reading of the Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah Jesus.

These early Believer’s  firm belief, their tested faith, didn’t yield to doubt, or to misunderstandings about God’s plain truths within His Word.

That group, the early believers faith in God’s Atonement Gospel Message through His Son Jesus generated a great blessing to come upon the general population.

Today, Selma and I believe that God, in this vision desires the gathering of a “GROUP.”

To believe and pray for the spiritually lost within the community.

Within the GROUP, there is a critical awareness that all involved are equal and servants to all.

Whether: an Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist, Missionary, or Elder, Deacon, Lay Person, Male or Female all join for one purpose to pray with belief to God, for the lost to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, to be a Christian, a follower of Jesus.

To believe, to pray for the spiritual revival within our communities, state, country, and world.

It’s not the desire or hope for this GROUP to start a church.

Believing through prayer that God will raise others of like faith.

Believing only in the Protestant Christian Bible Old and New Testament as the only divinely inspired words from God to all of humanity.

And the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament is the only actual daily spiritual guide for all followers of Jesus to obey today.

The GROUP is to have a continual faith believing effort in the winning of souls for Jesus.

As we pray in secret, God will reward openly.

At this point, we are gathering for acquaintances, at the Chick-Fil-A  Restaurant at Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Hwy.94. on Wednesday Mornings at 10am, Saint Peters Missouri. U.S.
