What Are You Willing To Give Up?

The Protestant Christian Bible Old and New Testament is the ONLY TRUE WORD OF GOD!

It is written in the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament ,

Matthew 16:24-26 NIV – 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

What would you give up to save your soul?

What does it mean to “save” or “forfeit” your soul?

Do you think that God will accept you into Heaven because you consider yourself a good person?

Do you think that if a person gives up smoking, drinking, and cussing, or various other sins, that then they are good enough to go to Heaven?

Do you believe a person can “buy” their way into Heaven by giving lots of money to help the poor?

THERE IS ONLY ONE THING YOU CAN GIVE UP TO SAVE YOUR SOUL!

IT IS YOURSELF!

Jesus said that to be His disciple one must deny themselves, meaning to surrender your life to His control.

I believe that many people think if they turn to God, then they will have to “give up” everything that they consider fun. But the amazing thing is that when you are spiritually born again, the Holy Spirit of God transforms your heart, so that you WANT to do what pleases God. Your old way of life is then no longer appealing to you, and you will have JOY that you never had before.

JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN!

JESUS IS THE ONLY SAVIOR FOR ALL MANKIND!

The first words Jesus  preached were

Matthew 4:17 KJV – 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

To repent is to turn away from living your life just as you please, to ask God to forgive you for your sins, and to surrender your heart and life to Him. You then obey the teachings of Jesus, the Apostles, and evangelists in the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament.
